At Hand in Hand Nannies we are very particular about the nannies that we hand select to join our team. All of our nannies go through a very thorough interview/screening process which includes an online application, face-to-face interview (with the owners), and previous employment/child care related reference checks.

In addition, all of our nannies undergo a complete background screening which includes a DMV record check, social security verification, a criminal background investigation along with a sex offender database search to ensure the safety of the families and the children.  Only care providers we would feel confident hiring ourselves are accepted into our database of available child care providers.

The owner of Hand in Hand Nannies works directly with all of the families in our agency as their placement coordinator to ensure that they have a wonderful experience while hiring a nanny through Hand in Hand Nanny Agency.



Hand In Hand Nanny Agency Placement Process:

In order to start your search for your perfect nanny we ask that you first fill out a Family Application and submit it online in order to proceed with your in-home consultation, at the time of your consultation we will collect the $150 application and consult fee.  This fee is non-refundable and is your only obligation to our agency. After we receive your application we will call you to set up either an in-home or in depth phone consultation.  While we recommend an in-home consultation we do also offer an in depth phone consultation if that better fits your desires or time frame.

During the consultation we will discuss what you are looking for in a nanny (duties, hours, start date, salary, qualities, etc) and any special characteristics or experiences that you prefer your nanny to have. This personal meeting will help us get the best understanding of your family's needs.  During this consultation we will provide you with a folder of information on employing a nanny, this will include tax information, available First Aid/CPR classes, activities, etc.  Our mission is to help guide you throughout the process of finding the perfect caregiver and in this process we will send you Nanny Profiles that we believe would be a good fit for your family.  We will provide you with an explanation of the timeline and rest of the process once you have decided on your perfect nanny! 

After placement we are always here for you if you have any questions or concerns, so please don't hesitate to call.  We also like to check up periodically and make sure everyone is happy and things are going smoothly.  During the year we also offer picnics and events for our families and nannies as an opportunity for nannies and families to meet each other and set up play dates! 

 

Guarantee Policy:

We want to make sure that our clients are 100% satisfied with their nanny placement, therefore we offer a 90 day guarantee on all of our Long Term nanny placements.  In the first 90 days if you are not completely satisfied with your nanny, we will find you a replacement nanny at no further charge to you. 

We also offer a 30 day guarantee on temporary or summer positions that are contracted for three months or longer.  If you are not satisfied in the first 30 days we will find you a replacement at no charge.

Live-In Nanny - $1600

Live-Out Nanny - $1400
